We have a passion for people, our city and our world. Our culture and leadership is characterized by worship and the love of God, a genuine call to ministry. These core values have been shaped by our rich history of great  leadership from the apostle Paul to our founding pastors, Jeff and Paula Holmes. So that we are always pressing forward in our call to love God and love others.

    Teaching Pastors

    After co-pastoring Living Word with her husband, Jeffery Holmes, Paula became the pastor of LWT shortly after Jeff went to be with the Lord in 2008. Her vision for the church is to have a "Book of Acts" church that is empowered by the Holy Spirit. The gifts of the Holy Spirit will be in operation, and the people will be born again, and filled with the Holy Spirit, so that they may grow up into the fullness and stature of Jesus Christ. She brings a strong gift of preaching, and has been equipped with spiritual gifts from the Holy Spirit for her ministry.

    Pastors

    Larry and Laura came on board to help lead LWT into becoming the hands and feet of the church. Their primary role is to equip the leaders to lead. While bringing new believers into the family of God through discipleship, directed by the Holy Spirit. Larry believes that the church is out side the walls of a building and it takes believers to step into this world to show God's LOVE and to walk in the calling and gifts of God that He has given freely to each believer.

    PRAISE AND WORSHIP Director

    Bill leads the Praise and Worship for Living Word. Music is a means of communication. This is true not only for the lyrics, melodies, harmonies, and rhythm but also to communicate. Music has the ability to touch the deepest parts of our soul. People use it to express their deepest joys, sorrows, and passions. As a Christian, music is no different. It helps us communicate our emotions to God. Singing great songs helps to align our souls with the beauty, love, and majesty of our great God. The songs Bill plays can help you remember and believe about what God has done for you in your life. Bill's main goal is to lead a body of believers into the presents of God.

    Sherry has been a faithful teacher to LWT for many years, she has a heart of gold and the kids flock towards her because Jesus just pours out of her life every time she steps into the classroom. Sherry's teaching ability goes without saying, she can get kids involved with interactive lessons plans to hit the heart in every child that makes a life long change.
